It's NOVEMBER!!  Can you believe it? I can't.
Anyway, it's the beginning of a new month which means I have a new layout to reveal!

I have combined three challenges to create this page.
First, Scrap Our Stash has a new stash challenge.  This one is a countdown and here are the specifics.
Create a layout adding the specific items and quantities on the list below:
5 ~ Patterned Papers
4 ~ Stickers or Cardstock Stickers
3 ~ Numbers (year stickers)
2 ~ Stamps or Rub ons (stamped tree, reindeer rub-on, 1+1=2!)
1 ~ Paint or mist (misted background)

Second and third,  Child's Play is doing a crossover event with Paper and Pixels Challenge Blog.
The Child's Play portion of the challenge is a recipe.  You might notice that it's much like the countdown challenge above.  You use specific items named by the challenge host.
The recipe:
gold (mist)
animal (reindeer rub-on)
something older than 1 year (glitter alpha)
3 patterned papers (I used six)
bling (sequins)

From Paper and Pixels we were given this photo as inspiration:
I took inspiration from the colors---red, green, gold and cream---and also the Christmas theme.

I was able to combine these challenges really easily with the use of a collection pack.  All my papers were already coordinated and I also had lots of cardstock stickers to choose from, in addition to some alphabet and number stickers. The hardest part was selecting the photo...until I stumbled upon this one in my stash.  It fit in with this paper collection from Echo Park perfectly!

The sketch is one side of a 2 page sketch by Allison Davis for Scrapbook Generation.  It's from her 6x6 Paper Pad Class and is availabe for purchase and download HERE.  Turns out I did not use a 6x6 pad for this layout. Fortunately there were several patterns in this collection with smaller prints to make this work.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my Christmas layout in November!  I hope I have inspired you to participate in some of these challenges---or all three!!  Be sure to stop by Scrap Our Stash, Child's Play and Paper and Pixels to see what other DT members have created for your inspiration and also to upload your layout for a chance at some awesome prizes!

Supplies:  Echo Park Reflections Christmas collection, American Crafts Thickers (green glitter), Stampin' Up Holiday Happiness set (tree), Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (mustard---looks gold to me), October Afternoon rub-on (reindeer), Ranger Ink (gathered twigs and antique linen), sequins unknown (they are ancient craft supplies I purchased when my kids were little!).
